About Rachel

Hi! My name is Rachel Kennedy.

Having worked in the hair and beauty since 2000 has given me the confidence to start my own business which has been extremely successful and continues to thrive.

However the reason behind me entering the world of semi-permanent cosmetics was when a close friend was diagnosed with breast cancer, I noticed her lack of confidence after losing eyebrows and lashes… this was where my journey into semi-permanent make-up began. I decided to train with Nouveau Contour, one of the UK’s leading semi permanent cosmetic training providers, so that I could try to help and support my friend through that tough time.

During my training with Nouveau Contour, I have undergone rigorous assessments and continue to extend my skills through attendance at specialist training days. I have continual opportunities to attend new advanced training skills to add to my skills. From working with the public I have developed a wealth of knowledge, experience and skills. My passion and determination for the love of what I do enables me to be creative and develop myself further in new ways, to ensure I am the best I can be.

I was thrilled recently to be nominated by one of my clients for an award at the Inspiration Awards for Women 2017. It was a real honour to meet with so many inspirational people, and to hear all of the wonderful stories that were shared during the evening.

The treatment room at Ocean Salon, from which I work, has been fully-checked and passed by the local authorities. I also carry all the relevant insurances to carry out each individual treatment. I fully understand some of the anxieties and worries that you might naturally feel when receiving semi-permanent cosmetics for the first time, and I will do my very best to answer your questions and reassure you that you’re in the best of hands!
